I upgraded my Acer Aspire V3-372T laptop from 6GB to 16GB with this RAM kit. Overall, this RAM was easy to install and once the system booted up, it worked right away. Now I can conveniently open multiple tabs on my laptop, use Adobe Photoshop, and better yet, use virtual machines whenever I need to run Linux-based software. All in all, this $60 kit was stolen, especially for DDR3, which is close to legacy RAM.

I'm reluctant to buy this sheep because of frost problems. But for the price, it's still worth trying. The BIOS seemed happy with the RAM and reported the correct amount. Shortly after the first login, Windows 10 froze. I swapped out and reinstalled the RAM just for a smile, and this time it seemed pretty stable for about an hour. This kit was used to upgrade the standard 2x4GB memory cards in my ASUS laptop (model Q550LF). I made sure this kit is compatible with my laptop by checking the processor specs. The Intel ARK website lists the RAM specs that each processor is compatible with (in my case 16GB at 1600MHz was the maximum my processor could support). The previous RAM I bought from OWS didn't work and having previously bought the 8GB kit from G Skill I opted for this set and was happy to see that it has worked so far with no issues.Did it a 1 star as it still feels pretty much the same when I had 8GB.Although I have read that 16GB RAM comes from 2011 MacBook Pro models are unofficially supported and usually work best with an SSD, I still use a 1TB hard drive Time for another update!I'll update this review over time if I run into any issues.

My laptop has an NVIDIA graphics card and an i7 kernel, so I need RAM to run my programs. It originally only had 8g of RAM and those 16g made a big difference. Processing photos in Lightroom is much faster and allows you to process more photos. I haven't used Photoshop so I talk about it a lot. It was easy to install and had no problems downloading. So far I haven't noticed any performance degradation. So if there are any problems, I'll let you know!

I had 8GB installed in my Alienware Alpha and it started to freeze, usually running at 79-90% RAM usage. I put these flash drives in and immediately saw an increase in performance which is now 20-30%. Applications open faster and everything in the system works faster. I recommend this update for those who only use the 4 or 8GB Alpha.
