Even easier - parts

It was even easier to install them than the front ones. The ride just got a whole lot better, if you're thinking of getting it, do it. It's worth the time.

Perfect fit, took me longer to assemble the tools

Perfect fit, took me longer to assemble the tools than it took to remove and install the new shock absorbers. The truck drives like new.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Requires socket

Jeep drives much better, ride is not smooth

Fits perfectly in the tailgate of my stock 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jeep drives much better, ride is not smooth. I would also recommend the same shock absorbers for the front. Definitely a stiffer ride, but then again the shocks I removed were at least 10 years old.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • will add later

Great ride for the price.

Today my mechanic put them on the zip. It took longer to remove the old ones because of rust. The rear of my '97 Jeep ZJ is much better. Sure, spend $60 at Sears for the same damn thing for a shock. Check online if you don't believe me. Revane slaps them on the arms. I will come back in a few months and let you know if there are any downsides. So far only pluses for them. They look and feel pretty much the same as the stock shocks that I removed from the rear. So far very satisfied. I thought I
