Works great: Practice tool

My husband took it to the fire department and used it to practice hitting golf balls. He installed it outside, but it would work fine inside. Easy to assemble. A durable training net at a great price. Wonderful customer service from the company followed by an email to make sure we were happy with the product which was a nice touch.

Don't waste your money

Bought last week due to golf courses being closed. The reviews seem ok. Today I received it, set it up (with the help of my wife, it's very difficult for one person) and started hitting. After about 5 hits, the mesh backing separated from the black backing. I would expect this from something that costs less than half of what made it, but it wasn't supposed to happen. Terrible product if you plan on hitting real balls. You MUST use practice balls or they will break.

Pleasantly surprised

I like to exercise in the garden. However, I will confess that it took me almost two hours to set it up. I wish there were more step-by-step instructions. Part of the problem might be that I'm in Az. and I use it in the desert landscape. Overall it's strong enough to handle my rider, stands up to the wind, gives a good porthole and takes all the shots. We've only been using it for a week so if it lasts long then I'm very happy with the purchase.

Don't think about buying, spend more

Possibly the most disappointing thing I've bought from Revain. After about 6 balls there were three holes in the net. Eight-nine bullets from one of the tethers on the target are torn off. This was a headache to set up. There was nothing good about this product. I will get my money back and need to spend more money for a better product. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this product. If I could rate that negatively, I certainly would.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Security

A strong wind from behind will break this net as I expected. I added ropes at the top where the poles cross and attached them to the 14" tent poles to solve the problem. The net isn't strong enough to take a direct hit from a torturous ball, even from this 70-year-old man. When I first set this up and started putting discs in, I hooked a few and they went under the target and through the bottom of the net. Hang something else after the target, e.g. B. a piece of tarp or a longer piece of nylon…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Line is shorter than other picks

Don't get me wrong. This is actually a very good golf net. The instructions are useless, but once you figure it out, you're almost free at home. The mistake I made with my last net was that I left it outside. The sun has destroyed the nylon that the poles go through (think modern two man tent with flex poles breaking). So now I break the net after each use. I need a maximum of five minutes. I leave the rods in the nylon pads and detach them at the top to allow them to straighten out. Then I…
