- Power saving mode, in which the set-top box does not function, but can download content and charge peripherals; Virtually silent operation; Support for 4K resolution (when used with a compatible TV); A massive library of games; Extra smartphone applications (PS App, PS4 Second Screen), a PS Plus subscription to enhance your gaming experience with targeted discounts and exclusive free content, and a pretty sizable selection of accessories (headsets, stands, controllers, etc.) for an additional charge.
- In my opinion, 1 terabyte of memory is not enough; Only one gamepad and a headphone that isn't exactly built for comfort are included in the box. Not the easiest interface to use
- Games do not slow down, the most convenient joystick,
- Expensive games, no compatibility with older consoles
- Design, quality, image, joystick dual shock4
- Price
- 4k in some games, practically everything looks better but ihmo 2k in dynamics is significantly noticeable on TV from 60 inches, 4k from 70 inches, if you have a TV of 40-50 inches, then there is not much difference with FHD became noticeably faster in menus and applications and browser than a regular ps4 (thanks to the faster processor) became quieter in menus and applications than a regular ps4 (this was annoying for the most part in applications - not in games) buttons are partially non-touch there is full support for HDMI CEC, which is very convenient rev 2 gamepad just got a little better than rev 1 playing on a console is better than on a computer convenient menu - (more logical than xone)
- few subscriptions are only ps +, which is not encouraging still noisy in games, especially if the disc is still spinning (about the same as almost all ps4), any xone will be noticeably quieter (especially xone x) no support for ntfs - although this is a proprietary standard, but almost any smart TV is friends with it, and even ubuntu and poppies read it (it would be enough to read it) not convenient buttons for turning on and ejecting the disk - although they have become better, they are still bad (there is a risk of accidental pressing) strange design, for example, what is the point of making a bevel on the back of the console - this does not create convenience when connected the gamepad is still worse than that of competitors, here is the operating time, and convenience, and the non-switchable lamp (I understand that it is necessary for VR, but for movies and games it is bad, because it drains the battery and is reflected in TV) can't display youtube and media player on main page you can not create a special folder in order to put indie with ps + subscription there still no normal backwards compatibility with ps3 - sony extort money for those games you already bought for ps3 oddities when connecting to some 4k TVs - the image disappears after a reboot, although the sound goes through hdmi (in FHD mode - I didn’t notice such problems) - I tried with two TVs - everything was ok with one, the image was turned off with the other after a reboot - I cured it like this: "Enable HDMI device channel" - "off" after that the problem disappeared (with xone x - there was no such problem with this TV)
- There are many advantages and they are all listed more than once, so I see no reason to repeat myself. They can be found in any product description in any store. PlayStation, as always, on top! On my own behalf, I can add that I was impressed by the low noise level and thoughtfulness of the cooling system, which, however, as an avid tuner, I decided to finalize (I will describe this below in the comments). Also, the video picture on SONY 4K TVs seems flawless! And in general, the graphics engine of the console cannot but rejoice, and in some ways even delight! The talking joystick is also a cool thing!
- The only downside for me as a racer is the incompatibility with the Logitech G27 wheel (and other "old" wheels), which is very annoying. Indeed, at the moment we have to look for a solution to this problem using third-party devices. And I don't know how they will behave (what will be the total signal delay). Yes, and some ready-made solutions (such as DRIVE HUB) cost around 8000-9000, which is almost equivalent to an additional payment when selling an old steering wheel and buying a new one. But! My G27 suits me perfectly and I categorically do not want to change it to G29! I would like to call this decision by SONY and Logitech a corporate marketing conspiracy against users. This is extremely inconvenient, even unfair to users, which is why I gave 4 stars for ease of use (although I would like to put 1 on emotions, but objectively the console is very convenient to use).
- All liked it.
- Didn't like anything.
- Matte case - class! After four glossy it finally happened! Down with the dust collector (gloss) Very quiet and much quieter than a quad New gamepads, hold a charge longer and are more comfortable in hands Sony exclusives Fast browser, no problems with it by the way, it downloads games faster Sufficient memory The quality of the image, details in games is an order of magnitude higher even if you have a regular full HD TV - you will see it with the naked eye!
- Inappropriate price. At the Start, I had to wait and buy only in the summer (2022) already at a more or less normal price from an official reseller (23,000).
- Disk 1 TB You can watch youtube in 4k Nice matte finish Finally mechanical buttons on the front panel Added another USB
