I don't know if it does any good, but it looks good!

Well I mean you just put it in the PSP, close the PSP door for a few seconds and then take it out. I don't know if it really cleans the laser as I had no problems before using the cleaner and still have no problems after using it. At least that way you feel like you're doing the right maintenance anyway!

Do you clean the lens to keep your PSP running?

I have this along with the UMD cleaner, I have several PSPs along with the Launch model 1000 which has never been clean. Neither of them had any issues, but with the older two (1000/2000) I did notice a slight increase in load times and they didn't seem like they needed to spin the drive that much when streaming, so that's probably a good thing about the battery. I can't add anything to that other than for less than a dollar and if you are an avid PSP user you would be stupid not to get this…

Shame on Snou for not selling them as accessories!

for those of you who have been told your PSP is not repairable. don't believe them (we had problems with games freezing and/or loading), they just want your money for another PSP. I blew compressed air into the game loading door, then disassembled as much as I could without making a mess and my son's PSP worked again. That's when I decided to do more research on the new lens.
