Good idea, but you have to take it off to charge the controller. Subtracting the factor results in it being thrown away and not used most of the time.

My 4 year old daughter wanted a blue tablet for Christmas but she has a 3DS and a Wii-U and I haven't wanted it online yet. My wife and I decided to give her a blue Wii U case and she loves it. In their eyes, it's like a brand new system. Great buy, protects the device well enough without making it too big to fit in your hands.

I read other reviews but took the opportunity to buy them anyway. The color is excellent, the rubber is comfortable in the hand. The main reason it doesn't get 5 stars is simply that it doesn't charge on the dock with this cover. It's just too tedious to fire every time you need a load. I cut to retrofit but didn't look attractive.

The official brand cover is made with the bottom part fully open, allowing the controller to press a button that extends the ports needed for charging. This special element seals the bottom so that the gamepad cannot press the button to eject the ports. Don't buy it unless you're willing to remove the cover or fit it to the charger every time you charge. I chose to cut it rather than return it and now it calculates well.
