I hate smartwatches, bye.

If you're not a fan of smartwatches you'll love this watch, it's my favorite watch and I have about 50 watches. I don't even realize it's on my wrist, sometimes it's so ergonomic and straight, the battery lasts about a week without recharging, it's cool, no regrets, buy now thanks later.

Really great for work

I've had it for about a couple of months and I really like this watch. It is beautiful and durable to work with. The screen is easy to read with many options and customization features. I took it to the shooting range and it handles shockwaves with no problems. I would highly recommend it to people who are constantly on the move, whether that's staying up late, hiking the trail, or shooting at the range.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Minor issues

Husband LOVES this: GPS, finder and accessories

Arrived quickly, watch is very light so almost thought there was nothing in the box. The battery has lasted the last 3 days with the setup and my husband played with it while looking in and only went down 1 bar. My husband is not a techie either and he read the instructions quickly, was able to set everything up and couldn't wait to take it to the gym to use all of its tracking features. I would say that this Christmas gift was a win for him!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Groundbreaking fitness watches are worth their money.

This is the digital watch I've always dreamed of. Modern font numerals, always-on watch face, gesture-activated backlight, military time, accurate GPS time sync, and good visibility in the sun. The strap is super comfortable. The heart monitor has a cool 4 hour chart. You can receive weather information and notifications from your phone. He has a compass, a map for the way back in case you get lost. He's loaded. I bought this black for work and have another tundra color for home.

Cons

You don't need maps on your Explore watch

I had Fenix 2 and Fenix 3 and now Instinct. I couldn't agree on the price of the Fenix 5 or Fenix 6 series. They didn't offer me enough features to upgrade my previous watch. They had many features, most of which I would never use. I'm not a triathlete, I'm just a hiker who loves to be in the woods. Instinct was the perfect upgrade after Garmin released the Explore app. Instinct doesn't come with maps, but the Explore app allows me to view a detailed topographical map on my large-screenโ€ฆ

Great smartwatch for those who hate smartwatches.

This is my first smartwatch and probably the only one. If you don't like the flashy glossy screen mini phones that other smartwatches are and want a sturdier utility watch that doesn't look like a status symbol but has all the great GPS and running/hiking/weather/health tech then you love. this is a clock. It connects to my Strava for running/hiking so I don't have to run with my phone, it tracks my heart rate and provides essential weather information. It records your runs/hikes and sends your

Not worth it, doesn't last long.

I've had the watch for less than a year and one of the buttons has already stopped working. The "abc" button in the bottom left corner that I use every day is no longer clickable. I use this watch no more than the average person, I certainly don't run marathons with it. Also, I live at sea level and the altimeter doesn't work properly at all, never did. I spoke to a Garmin rep and they said that the way the barometer reacts to sea level air pressure doesn't give an accurate reading. Alrightโ€ฆ
