Description of Garmin Approach S12

New round watch design with a high-resolution sunlight-readable display. More than 42,000 courses preloaded from around the world. Provides yardages to the front, back and middle of the green, as well as to hazards and doglegs. Keep score right on the watch and upload directly to the Garmin Golf app (when paired with a compatible smartphone) to participate in weekly leaderboards. Automatically keep track of your score and how far you hit with each club with compatible Approach CT10 club tracking sensors (sold separately). Battery life: up to 30 hours in GPS mode.

Great GPS Sports Finder!

This is the best GPS sports finder that we've ever used! It's incredibly accurate and easy to use, making it simple to improve our game. The product's compact, ergonomic design makes it perfect for any sport or outdoor activity. Since it's an electronic device, it may require charging during long sessions of use. Based on our own experience, we can heartily recommend the Garmin Approach S12 to any athlete looking to up their game!

Easy to use and set up

Good product. Our original golf watch was stolen and we replaced it with an S12. We play golf to socialize and have fun. We found them perfect for everyday golfing. They are efficient, light and not bulky at all. They are accurate and give us information that is all we need for golfers. The accuracy was confirmed by the GPS in the golf cart we used this week. This is a great basic golf watch.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Once you get used to how the watch works, it will be very easy to use. Just turn it on, say you want to play (when you arrive at the golf course) and it will load the course for you. Then specify which tee you're teeing off from (although it doesn't really matter as it will still give you the information you need) and you're good to go. Shows the distance to the front, middle and back of the green and to obstacles (water, sand, etc.). The price of the watch is given, the data transfer is free.
