🚗 Optimized Universal Carrying Case for Garmin 5 Inch and 6 Inch Devices Review

Fits my Drive 6 Garmin very well. It's a bit cramped, but that's not bad. I need this case and it works very well. magnetic tape. Lay the screen away from the magnet. You can reach under the rim and pull it out. So it fits like a glove, as intended.

Fits snug but fits Tom Tom Go Supreme 6 inch that I bought. Tom Tom measures 6.37 x 4.15 x 0.74 inches. Insertion length leaves about 1/2 extra space. We'll see how it holds up, I bet it's the best I've found for a 6" tom tom yet!

Bag too big for my Garmin Driveluxe 51 LMT-S. This is a beautiful skin but large (see photo). When I opened it I thought they accidentally sent me an iPad case. I think Garmin can make a nice custom leather case for one of their top GPS models.

As everyone says, this suitcase is HUGE. I was hoping my Drivemart 55 would fill that box, but it's nowhere near. I would like Garmin to make a few different sizes of this case. The quality is very good and I really like the vertical orientation with the magnetic closure, but too big. I'll look for something else

I miss the envelope case Garmin had about a year ago. It was more upscale and better suited to GPS. Because it's a case and doesn't have creases on the sides, it's enlarged to compensate for the thickness of the GPS. Not crazy about it, but don't send it back. If you can find someone selling an old envelope, do so.

The material is high quality scientific material and perfect for 2699. 5 inch screen will be sloppy. The band is held by a magnet that is not strong enough. I would have preferred a velcro closure. Inside is a screen-sized stiffening patch that adds extra protection to the screen. I am happy with my purchase.

This is a good case but if you use it for a 5 inch GPS (I used it with 50LMTHD) it's definitely too big for this unit and You should choose smaller 5 inch cases like 010-11951-00. The leather is soft and the build quality is first class. It's well padded so you don't have to worry about damaging your GPS if it falls. The cover is magnetic to keep the GPS in place so it doesn't slip out.

Technically matches the DriveSmart 61 but is very tight and requires some effort (including lots of "pushing" force between thumb and forefinger) to get this GPS model out Pull to remove this bag after it is inserted. Unfortunately, my hands are too big to remove it quickly or comfortably. I like the construction and the slim design. It may stretch and loosen a bit with time and use, but in the end I decided to return this item.

I do not recommend buying for Garmin 5 inch screens. I have a Driveluxe 51 LMT-S and the case has added almost 1 inch on all sides making it impossible to carry in a bag. I bought a generic Garmin 5" case and it fits like a glove. Also, one side of this case is open with a partially covering Velcro strap, which I worried about if it fell off and hit that side on the ground.
