Disappointed with Sports & Handheld GPS

Bought this to replace my Fenix 5 which I liked but it no longer works. While the 6s has some new specs, blood oxygen etc, the watch itself feels cheap, especially compared to the 5s. The 5s has a metal body while the 6s has a plastic body. I'm sorry my 5s broke, it had everything I needed and I just loved it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

love love love: running GPS navigators

I love my Garmin watch. It has so many features and I still recognize them all. I use it mainly for running and I am very happy with all the data it gives me. My only problem is running on the indoor track - it doesn't measure distance and time correctly, but that could be my gym. I don't know how I walked without it.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • a few little things

Great watch - note the different return policies

When choosing between different watch options some said FREE RETURNS while others appeared to be NO RETURNS from the same supplier. I thought they were all returnable and after ordering the wrong one I was surprised to find I couldn't even pay for the return postage. I love my Garmin 6 but now I have an unopened 6S that I can't return. My mistake, just a warning to be very careful as the return policy differs depending on the option.

Pros
  • Shipping was very quick
Cons
  • Only available in white

Worth every penny - Working GPS modules

Before I bought the Fenix 6 I used a whoop strap for two years. Functionality is similar to Whoop but without a subscription. It doesn't have the workout options that the Whoop strap offers in terms of CrossFit-style workout tracking, but I only use the cardio tracking feature. I really like that I can start workouts from the watch instead of the app, as well as the fluid tracker. I look forward to using the golf feature next spring.

  • Weight

  • Hard to say

No onboard music storage

I bought this watch a week ago and had to return another model. The watch is a good watch but it cannot store music on board. Reviews of it show that it is, and it is not. It only plays music when it's synced to your phone, and it plays music on your phone, not the watch itself. I've also had trouble with turn-by-turn navigation on my runs. First it worked, then it stopped. I felt like for the price I paid it should definitely be able to store music and definitely go through with no issues. I…
