Amazing on marine electronics

This is the best fishing tackle I have ever seen. Go to YouTube and watch the videos for yourself. Everyone who has it loves it.

livescope is legal.

I was impressed by the introduction but the view is amazing. You can see 30-40 feet in front of the boat in less than 5 feet of water. Live you can see the fish swimming in the algae. It's like a Mega 360 but in real time. Highly recommended.

Great system with features

The graphics are great, very impressive, and the ActiveCaptain is a bit bulky, but once you figure out how to work with it, it's a lot more convenient than the mini SD path. Use Google or YouTube to do this. Garmin's help information was terrible, confusing and didn't match their own website. The RTR Marine tutorial helped me through the upgrade process

Useless in Saltwater

When the transducer is tethered to our big boat in 30 feet of clear sea water, the transducer reads 30 feet in traditional sonar mode, as do the instruments on board the big boat. The traditional sonar view also shows passing fish. In panoptic mode, depth is displayed with errors twice the actual depth. That alone makes him completely unsuitable for me. Another negative review mentions it's useless in salt water and that might be a problem, but for me it's a waste of money and thankfully Revain
