Terrible Software: Cycling GPS Modules

These guys obviously don't know how to make software - syncing workouts is a headache. Works to the max. And the usual methods of getting it to work (out of sync, turning off both devices and all permissions for those primitive prehistoric animal actions) don't work. If all you're thinking of is an expensive bike computer, don't expose users to it.

A smaller device looks better and is easier to read in any light. Works best for me.

Best option. The sensors work and integrate with my Samsung 10+ Garmin app. The Yeti sb100 is a custom build with a full carbon T3 frame, Axs wireless drivetrain, drop-down rack, upgraded wheels and rims. Carbon water bottle frame and camelback bottle. look at my photos Hope this helps, this model is highly recommended, not the big screen model and honestly it's too big.

Challenging and slightly unpredictable

On C hand, it's great to have all this information available and when it works, it's great. But there are so many settings that it takes quite a long time to figure everything out. Intuitively this is not the case. Another problem is related to the loss of communication. It doesn't happen often, but when you're working a lot and suddenly something stops, it's very annoying. The software doesn't seem to have any recovery processes built in either, as the only way to get it working again is toโ€ฆ

Pretty good, best for sports and portable GPS

I like the fact that this is a dedicated system with good battery life. I love that it controls my speed, cadence and heart rate. These features are great. What I don't like is the clumsy and poor way Garmin and other courses manage. Creating a course is a royal pain. Garmin seems to take a hands-on approach and doesn't offer what I think is necessary to create a course from an online map. This should not be an added value (subscription to a paid service) but provided as part of the purchase of

Good accuracy and integration, tricky touchscreen

Overall, this is a good bike computer. Good integration via the Garmin Connect app with Strava and easy pairing with lightweight networks like the Varia rear light. But if I had to do it again, I'd choose the 530 for mountain biking, as the 830's touchscreen is virtually unusable with wet hands and isn't as responsive as a phone's touchscreen. We were walking along the path and got caught in an unexpected storm. When I tried to go back, the touchscreen was unresponsive. Because my clothes wereโ€ฆ
