Stay away, questionable quality

These cables appear to have a maximum lifespan of two years. I've had two cancellations and Garmin vehemently denies any issues. My advice: don't buy Garmin, the product quality and customer support, at least for the 3x0 series, is terrible.

Contact pins fail, dielectric grease helps.

Gold spring contacts do not move as easily over time. After a permanent power outage I installed a new 5V 3A power supply, but the contacts were the real problem. After lubricating them with dielectric grease, I had no more power problems.

Wiring Zumo. Suitable for car mounts

I bought this as an OEM backup. The wiring is of good quality, the main power cables are a bit short. No problem with the increase in length, but for the price paid I think it should only be a foot longer.

Beware of 2 pin design

I have no problem with the product but look at the description. This only applies to newer Zumo models as it is a 2 pin design and not the mini USB used in earlier Zumo models and it is not mentioned anywhere. Garmin no longer makes chargers with mini-USB connectors, although devices with them were sold less than 4 years ago.

Works great, price is high, plastic relay box limits wire through bike to battery. Buy it.

Summary High cost. Works well. Suitable for Zumo mount. Easy to attach to the battery. Buy it like no other option, the CON.Price HighTransformer block is so great when you need to run a cable through a motorcycle's inner fairing or under a gas tank. Figure out how to route the power cable without moving the large plastic transformer/relay box.
