Great product with very confusing measurements listed.

Great product with very confusing measurements as stated in the description. I was grateful for one of the reviews that mentioned the size was advertised incorrectly and chose to believe it was an 18 inch towel rail. For those who want the exact size, it measures nearly 21 inches end to end (20 3/4 inches) and the inside measurement available for the towel is approximately 17 1/4 inches. I hope they fix the size to avoid confusion.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

We like her style and are very satisfied.

Purchased during a small bathroom renovation along with towel hook, toilet roll holder and shelf from the same Latitude II line. Even before I took it out of the box, I saw that this towel rail was too far from the wall (nearly 6 inches) and would pose a hazard every time someone walked by. I ended up sending the hanger back and bought two of the same Latitude towel rails and mounted them side by side. We like their style and are very happy with the quality of the Latitude bars.

Poor design for installation

Fasteners will not adjust left to right. If you deviate more than 1/16 inch, the towel bar will not fit the brackets and you will not be able to install them. I had to cut off the bracket so the towel rail could be hung on it. Very bad design. The hex nut used for attachment to hold the crossbar in place is so small and easy to remove. not a very good statement of quality and care) Overall a rather cheap feel and not very high quality Installation was a nightmare.

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • May cause injury

Chrome completely rusted in 1 year.

Today I had to take this towel warmer apart as it was completely rusted. It's been less than a year and all the chrome is gone. REAL garbage! I contacted the manufacturer and tried to get my money back but they didn't give me a refund at all. Instead, they sent me a replacement free of charge. Very "good" of them - another towel warmer will rust next year. Why? Because "our towel rails are only designed to be installed outside of the bathroom" and "our warranty does not cover this due to the…

Not bad, but I'm a little disappointed.

I have to say right away: That's not bad, but these aren't the towel holders I need. I will keep them but they certainly don't live up to my expectations after reading all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I wasn't looking for an ADA-compliant, heavy-duty handrail, but I was hoping for something more durable - in the sense of "hotel quality" construction that can take a little abuse and snags. I used to find such a beast at my local Orchard Supply for about thirty bucks, but they've since…
