Incorrect labeling at Revain. It's not electroluminescence, it's LED. It's very bright. If that's what you want, you'll love it. I didn't return them because they're still useful, but then again, Revane can't label things properly.

This is a fairly bright night light but it has a muted tint so it's not very bright but illuminates everything around it. I'd say a solid few feet of lighting. From a distance, this helps determine the landmark when the room is dark. The light stays cool. The only downside is that it stays on almost all the time and doesn't always turn off when there is enough daylight.

These lights are perfect for a little extra light to either illuminate the path down the hall or I actually use it in my garage to make sure the power is still on . Freezer. Sounds silly, but this is the quickest and easiest way to test it. They were well packaged, on time and this is a quality product. Good price, good product. I would say it's a very soft light. So if you need something lighter I would look elsewhere but for my needs it was perfect!

I give 5* even though I can't use it as intended. It's too bright, like the night light in the master bathroom, with a wall of mirrors and white walls. Now I've turned them into lanterns at the top, out of sight of my (but otherwise gorgeous and amazing) wife sleeping in the light! The intent was to replace the old "Indiglo" night light, which gave off a much softer, aquamarine glow while lasting (maybe) 15 years or so.

You are perfect! You are exactly what I wanted! There is enough light to show the needs of the toilet but not enough to illuminate the entire hallway. It's comfortable enough to sleep in. Small and handy. Doesn't bother you on the second exit. We use them in bathrooms and hallways. Dimmer than a regular night light, but bright enough to illuminate a dark room for safety. Great for our 2 year old who loves to get up early and roam the hallways. Note: They will NOT light up if the power goes out. (I used to have a kit that would fluoresce for hours when the power went out. I thought it would be a nice added safety feature to help you find your way out of a smoky house.)

Was hoping to get the electroluminescent night lights that some have described. Unfortunately I got LED bulbs - LED bulbs work well but they are too bright and harsh for my liking - I prefer the soft green glow of EL bulbs which also use a small fraction of the wattage (0.03w) . vs. 0.5W) - I can't seem to find ELs anywhere else so I was hoping that like so many other products, Revain would get my back. Unfortunately this was not intended. Donated and I will continue my search.

These little night lights do the job, but I wish they were a little brighter. The brightness might be good for lighting the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but that's not what I bought it for. I use them in a dark basement so I don't trip over something when I close the game at night and have to go through the dark basement to the stairs.
