I really like these lights. They work decently but keep disconnecting from my Alexa so I can't change the colors. Also, the glue on it is equivalent to a piece of tape after dipping it in water. Basically there isn't. I ended up having to super tape the command strips under the counter to keep them in place. You don't realize it's there and the lights are beautiful so I'm happy.

Bought a light strip in March. I bought x3 expansions in December. Toggles on and off to reconnect. Once I add the extensions, yes I have to reconnect EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP! Been trying to connect for 20 minutes now. Uninstalled and reinstalled app, same problem. I also have Hue bulbs and a strip which I have NEVER had a problem with. Do yourself a favor and just pay the money for the shade and stay out of trouble. The seller was good and the package arrived quickly.

Installed with Muzata U103 BW LED channel because under cabinets it looks really stupid to leave open. Because these bands are unusually large, most channels are undersized. Works well with ac by ge wireless wall switch. It's not possible to change the colors with the toggle, but that's ok because it can be controlled in the app. The band doesn't work with the Google WiFi mesh for squats, although that sucks. I have to admit; I bought these lights before I knew where to install them. However, due to their 86 inch length, I thought they would be perfect for a mantel. Bought to be placed under kitchen cabinets. They were very easy to put on, the tape is very sticky and sticks great. I honestly didn't know that the ribbon is connected to the app and Alexa and can change colors. I thought they were just whitish in color. I didn't read the full description when I bought it. I bought these strips to add to my existing C by Ge set. But to my surprise, GE released a new version of these light bars that don't work with the C by GE Reach Hub, which connects the light to the home kit. They are not connected to C with GE accessories. Since I already have a reach hub that syncs with other lights, the Cync app doesn't recognize these bands. I can connect these light bars to Google Home but Google Home is horrible and constantly bugging and disconnecting from the light bars

Very easy to install on top of my office. It's been holding up well for a few days. I thought it would be fun to put up lanterns that I could leave out year round. The light is very bright but can be dimmed. However the app is terrible and I spent 20 minutes trying to get it to accept that I want to change the color this morning. One strip of these bulbs is enough to illuminate a 10' x 10' room like a doctor's office, but they can also be dimmed and muted to suit to create a great atmosphere in a huge variety of colors. There is a wide range of shades of white and they all look great. I particularly like the "Early Morning" setting.
