Let there be light. Fits in my oven

Perfect replacement for my oven. Not super bright, but better than nothing. Ease of installation. Everyone advises not to touch the flashlight with your hands and wear gloves or use a paper towel to install it and do not touch it with greasy fingers.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • -

Bought 2 of these oven lights for my GE Profile oven. They are exact replacement parts and fit and work perfectly. Revain's photos, description and help to ensure this is the product I wanted really helped as there are many different lights to choose from.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Nothing here

Well packed. Fits perfectly.

Great quality... also works with oven model JTP48B0F2BB. Replaced the block I shorted out because I was stupid and lazy not turning off the power to the furnace, when I dropped the previous case to remove the stubborn one, the lightbulb blew and let the hot plug in the previous outlet intrude contact with a grounded metal object in the oven.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some little things

If your case isn't damaged or can't be cleaned, just buy a lightbulb!

GE calling this the light my oven needs. Instead of wasting time, I just followed the guide. As with other reviews all you need is a 40 watt oven lamp, nothing fancy as GE would have you believe. I've just used a lightbulb and put the case away for later or until I decide to throw it away. Could have saved about $20 if I had listened to other reviews.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Hot tub replacement too!

Also ideal for whirlpools replacement lamp in the same shape. See photo. The old whirlpool faucet was made of durable ceramic but did not have a glass lid and the lid is no longer available as the stove is around 36 years old. Great American oven. I need to remove the area where the paint has come off and repaint with high temp paint. The gasket also needs replacing, but I wouldn't trade this stove in for a new one. It's an oven!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Modern

DO NOT BUY; YOU ONLY NEED ONE LIGHT!

When I examined my oven disassembled, all I saw was this casing; no lightbulb. So I contacted GE. They told me yes, the whole body needs to be changed. So I ordered one. Then, after pulling mine out with great difficulty (it's in the top corner and the wires are about 1 inch slack, so incredibly hard to remove; even harder to plug in a new one), I looked around the case and saw this , by Of course, the front glass cover comes off with a slight counter-clockwise twist to reveal a standard 40W…

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
