I like this fan, it cools my laptop well, but the small cable that comes with it (the USB cable that connects to the laptop that powers the device) is bad not plugged in to the device at all times, and the plug feels a bit small for the device itself, so it always pops out with the slightest movement. It's a bit annoying. Also, the device is very durable and doesn't break as easily as other devices I've had.

We bought this because it was cheap and we needed something for our daughter's laptop to keep it off the carpet. Works perfectly.

Bought this to cool down my Directv DVR which is heating up to 127 degrees. Within 30 minutes of putting this on my dash cam (turn the cooler upside down if you want to use it for this) the temperature dropped 21 degrees. We'll see how long it lasts from other reviews. I will follow up on this review in a few weeks.

Very cheap and not sure if it really works to cool my laptop. You have to keep it connected to the network to use it, which is annoying. I wish I had read the description better. I wish it was more portable!

The fans were so weak they didn't seem to be moving any air at all. I didn't feel anything and my laptop's temperature didn't change. It was totally useless. Don't buy this unless you intend to use it as a prank.

The carpet is pulled up evenly from all sides without the traditional slope. The elevated position of the laptop is unfavorable when working.

I always use a cooling pad with my laptop. It prolongs life, at least I think so. But the tablet I had before had unprotected fans. Loose wires are forever tangled in these fans. That doesn't happen with this closed model, which is almost completely silent (another big advantage over my previous cooling platform). This extremely lightweight rug allows me to easily move my work from one room to another without having to unplug anything.
