BMW brake line manufacture

I had to replace some hard brake lines on a BMW E30. Bought this bubble burst tool and it worked great. I used a relatively soft material (CuNiFer) for the lines. I definitely don't consider this a professional quality tool, but it should be fine for the shadow tree mechanics.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

very happy with the kit

very happy with the kit and the reamer, follow the instructions for beveling the outside of the pipe and it works great, mark the pipe after clamping to make sure that it does not move so in the pines. tried the youtube idea of using my dblflare tool to create bubble highlights, it did NOT work for me, they leaked out so i bought the tool and had to redo 3 lines, NO leaks now

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • no power

1) The instructions included with the tool are clearly for double flare, not flare. Figure 1 is incorrect and the text describes flaring for double flaring 2) The knurled collet nut on the T-handle yoke is very loose making it difficult to pinch the flaring properly flat as expected.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

This is a good tool. Heavy weight and it really doesn't seem like it.

Good tool. Heavy weight and doesn't look like it will break with heavy use. After 6 attempts, a very nice rupture of membranes turned out. However, it was actually 2 attempts because I followed the instructions for the first 4 attempts. This was a mistake because (although they talk about bubble highlighting) these are the instructions for the duplicate highlight tool. Throw away the instructions and watch a YouTube video. By the way, both the instructions on the lid and in the box are wrong…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
