Ideal for Gearwrench keys

I really like the basic idea. They don't fit all keys perfectly. Not suitable for wrenches that have been used in the home for many years. Works great with Geawrench brand keys.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great organizers. for power tools and hand tools

A good product, well made, should last a long time. I bought two and thought I would use them in my tool box, but I needed significantly larger boxes. Tick box dimensions. I decided to install them on my metal bars using one for SAE and one for metric wrenches. I am very happy with this purchase.

  • New
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Keep organized and save space

This shelf keeps my keys in order. The stand is reversible so keys face one way, saving a lot of space in the toolbox. The only thing I don't like is that there is no way on the desk to attach the keys to the desk. It's good to grab a wrench quickly, but since the floor of the workshop I work in is a bit uneven, wrenches bounce around in my tool cart.

  • cool product

Works as expected in hand tools

I've tried similar holders that "locked" the keys but they were difficult to get in and out and the keys were hitting each other in the process. These holders work perfectly as described. Note: They were about 1/8" longer than my handyman toolbox drawer, which is slightly shorter than the 14 1/2" holder length. cleaned the burrs and they fit perfectly. If you didn't know, you'd never see the cut.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Pretty ok

Fits many wrenches, is reversible and even soft

You will receive 2 packs, they are plastic but well made and turn very easily so you can slide the smaller end forward or backward and your wrenches can be placed sideways - facing forward, which saves space in the drawer. The color is just like that but a little ringing in a great product. The only thing that could improve them would be to magnetize the underside oh and in my toolbox make them blue and black but no points for not matching my color scheme.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

But well done. about power tools and hand tools

Ok they did a great job organizing my wrenches. They are well made and seem to last a long time. The problem is that my keys often don't fit - the spacing on this rack increases for bigger keys, but sometimes it's too big and the keys don't fit consistently. It's usually around the middle of the keyset where I have trouble. Maybe a different set of keys would work better? I just use them as is and they keep my keys in order, but some of them have to be sub-standard due to sizing issues.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Will not work with Gearwrench FlexHeads

If you have one of the 16 or 13 piece Gearwrench Flex Heads these wrenches will not match these wrenches properly. Some don't sit flush, others hang to the side, and most of them move very freely. So if you put them in a tool trolley, they will shift. Stick to the original brake they came with and just grind down the grip, you'll be happier, at least for me it worked better than this product. It would be nice if they at least held the wrench a little tighter and were the right size for ALLโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

Nice design but doesn't work with some wrench styles.

I really wanted to like this stand but unfortunately it doesn't fit some brands of keys. My Craftsman wrenches have a raised section in the center of the handle where the logo and wrench size are. The rails on this wrench holder are so close together that they don't extend past this raised portion of the wrench, meaning many of the keys in my set will not fit in the holder. I'm sure it's great for wrenches. (e.g. GearWrench) which have smooth polished handles, but this rack will not work forโ€ฆ

Good but does not fit some wrenches and has mismatched parts

I bought 2 of these sets and love the design and they look good. They seem very durable. But they don't match some of my keys like Craftsman & SK. Buttons with a raised center will not fit. They will carry the Gear Wrench brand. I keep them for my Gearwrench badge and other keys that someone seems to be collecting. Also, one of the wrench holders had the same sides and faced opposite directions when reassembled, rendering it unusable. All I need is one of the side pieces. I really don't want to

Almost Perfect - Hand Tools

I love the Gearwrench key holder. Being able to flip the rails is a good thing. I prefer everything in one piece rather than buying individual rails and trying to line them up correctly. The only problem I had is what Gearwrench calls self-adjusting slots, there aren't enough smaller wrenches, but that doesn't bother. The slots for the rubber guides are very nice and more durable than the foam ones. With the exception of small key sizes (like 8mm) all keys are mostly snug, but not too tight ifโ€ฆ
