I like to use inserts in my fryer because emptying the basket can be difficult. However, after trying these silicone mats a few times, I do not prefer them. Yes, they have air holes, but the air doesn't flow as well as it should, which negates the benefits of a deep fryer. I prefer parchment paper inserts with holes.

This is a great accessory for your air fryer. They make cleaning much easier. Because of the holes, which I believe a deep fryer needs to cook food properly, grease or other liquids will still get into the grid and basket, but the food won't stick to the inserts and larger pieces of food that would normally stick to the Rust, no longer a problem. They are VERY easy to clean, I just dip them under water with some dish soap and wipe them down for a bit and you're done.

Gave this to my neighbor because I gave her my fryer they work with. Before using she didn't use anything, after thoroughly cleaning the Airfryer basket and using these inserts many times, she wonders how she managed without them all the time. Saves you a lot of time emptying the basket after each use. She can toss the liners in the dishwasher on the top shelf or lightly brush them in the sink, dry them and they're ready to use. The pastry brushes are well made. Used once. Easy to clean.
