I hardly ever use the Apple Pencil anymore. This stylus is much more responsive. I don't like the charging system. It's bizarre. I wish there was a case so I could store the top while charging. It also works great with my iPhone.

This is a good replacement as my 1st gen Apple stylus has small parts and randomly separates from the iPad, requiring it to be plugged into the charging port etc. This product is easy to pair. The downside is that the stylus doesn't work when your hand is on the screen, as you normally would when writing or editing a score. Maybe there's a setting I haven't found that fixes this. But for a fifth of the price of an Apple stylus, I'm glad I bought this item!

I had an Apple Pencil that died after a year. Rather than give Apple another $100 for a device that got very mixed reviews, I decided to give this stylus a try. It came in nice packaging and arrived very quickly. It was fully charged so I could use it right away. Got this to try my hand at drawing and painting during the coronavirus lockdown. It works great with the Sketchbook app. Now I just need to figure out how to pair the iPad with the printer. I am completely satisfied with this device…

This desire to be an ipencil is a major disappointment. As you can see the whole thing falls apart when disconnected from the charger. I have to reset it every time. It also makes a squeaky noise when I'm drawing or playing games, or when I'm dragging a stylus across the surface of my iPad. This is only good for typing. Also, it turns itself off after a minute. With my original Apple Pencil, I didn't care about the scribble function. I actually turned it off because I found it annoying when using an Apple Pencil. My Apple Pencil died after about five years.
