    I bought it as a spare, same as before so everything should be fine. TO UPDATE. 03/26/2018. I bought this lamp in advance so I installed it from December 2016 to last week. I installed it three days ago because our lamp burned out. This new one lasted two days. Yesterday I turned on the TV, but there is no picture. He took out the lightbulb and found that it was broken. I don't think it was removed after we received it 2 years ago. This means that either the bulb was defective or it broke in…

    This block is slightly different from the original.

    I finally had the opportunity to install a second lightbulb and it was different from the first. It would not properly fit in the same space. If you look at the photos of the part you will see that there are 2 protrusions sticking out on the right side that prevent the bulb from entering the socket. So I pulled out the bulb and put it in the original case, the first photo, and it turns out we were working. That evening we watched TV for about 4 hours with no problems. The next morning the lamp…

    Absolute rubbish and waste of money! Fraud with products and insurance!

    Found this item on Revain as a great value replacement for the original manufacturer's lightbulb. Bought 2 together with product insurance, big mistake! The first bulb worked for 1 month, the second bulb never worked! I contacted Asurian's insurance company and received a back order and replacement lamps from Revain. Again, the 1st bulb lasted 1 month and the 2nd only 10 seconds. lamp trash! I contacted the asuran product insurer and was told that I would need to re-insure product to replace…

    Great picture, bad screws - UPDATED

    Installed, picture looks good. Much better than the original actually, perhaps a trait of the dust that has accumulated over the years. BUT the screws that go into the replacement body are different than the screws on the original. Flathead versus Phillips, which doesn't really matter, but they're probably half an inch shorter. This was a problem because they didn't reach far enough. I was able to take out the original screws and put in replacements. But for God's sake! Could we change the…
