I went to the old Chevy dealership, not a Chevy dealership anymore, but I knew what to do. you drained the old oil, poured in the cleaner, then neturzier cleaner as a rinse aid, then poured in new oil. They told me to drive a few miles and then try to turn. Surprisingly, there was no sound when turning the lock.

This is a genuine GM part required for Versatrak rear wheels. I've changed it as needed. Now GM says it should be replaced and driven for a while and then replaced again. I only did it once and it took away most of the moans. I will probably order again. Fast delivery and fair price. If the back of your Versatrak is making noise, this may be a fix.

Worked (stopped whining)! Note that you will likely find it difficult to pour liquid from the container if your fill hole is high up on the back. Therefore, order a liquid pump with a hose. In addition, this material has a strong sulfide odor. So wear appropriate protective gear and protect your work area so that drips and spills can be cleaned up easily.

Bottles came with ACDelco labels just like you get from the dealer. Remember this is 16.9 fl. an ounce means 1/2 liter. You need 4 of these to fill the RDM, 8 bottles when you first change your oil, drive around 20 minutes and then change the oil again, like the GM Technical Service Bulletin for "back groan". Calls. Per. Expensive but I think it might be $35 a bottle from the retailer.

Very expensive and fairly useless. It didn't stop the groaning sound of my 2003 Buick Rendezvous making tight turns, even though I went through the whole ridiculous process of purging, refueling, circling, dumping, refueling, etc. The car has done 145,000 miles and I think I'm just going to have to live with a groan. In any case, the 4WD system is one of several design flaws this car suffers from including wheel hub assemblies etc.

WARNING. These are 500ml bottles (just over half a quart). On my Buick Rendezvous, I heard a thumping noise coming from my rear differential.
