XL fits size 40x30

Just received, looks good. It was difficult to say which size to go for. I wear size 40x30, size XL fits tight, not tight. Not washed yet, not sure if they will shrink? Length wise, is there extra room for maybe 2 inch long legs? When I sit down, they are almost the perfect length for me.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Damaged

Perfect for cold weather

Perfect fit. I was a little worried about the material as it appears to be synthetic. Now I wear them all the time because they don't make you sweat and I use them when it gets cold. I prefer them to my merino wool underpants. I recommend them to anyone who wants to warm their feet as they protect very well from the wind. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Includes negative

thin elastic band

I served in the army and I promise this is not a military issue. The rubber is of poor quality and thin. I doubt it will last 5 washes. The fit is huge. I'm six feet, 175 pounds. I ordered medium and these things fit like CLOWN pants! I cut mine into rags - that's all they're good for. Save money and buy something else.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Functionality

Great Thermals: Bottom

It was 2002 and I was new to Eielson AFB, Alaska. Among the many cold weather items I received were two pairs of polypropylene thermal underwear. I have another pair like this. They last forever. Anyway, I decided to order a new pair as my old ones had been shot in the rubber band and just looked old. These new ones are exactly the same as the ones they gave me. I was surprised how soft they are inside. I have 32 waist, 30 legs. I ordered small ones and they are a little tight around the hipsโ€ฆ

Exactly what I was looking for

Many years ago I had two sets of ECWCS thermals. They have endured over ten years of daily use during the Northeast winter season. We specifically looked for polypropylene that matched the properties of these old ones. They are ideal as a base layer for outdoor work and riding in cold weather. Note: I add a very thin windproof midlayer for optimal riding comfort. Delivery came as promised. The size is right. Looks like mine was released/unused because of the name written in black marker on theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Good but not great
