Almost perfect wide snap buckle belt but with a design flaw in the buckle

I bought two of these - one brown and one black - because I really like the ratchet ("click") straps and they were wider than any other I've found. I like a good wide belt for jeans. They're well built, good looking, and can probably be used for self-defense in a pinch (they're sturdy with a big, beefy buckle, for example). Great looking belt. Works well and corresponds to the description.

I didn't have a long strap so can't comment on durability. But the quality of the belt is very good. Nice leather with ratchet system. This seller/manufacturer has a particularly smooth-running, low-noise ratchet system. So it was a pleasant surprise. All my other ratchet straps are a bit noisy. Let me start by saying that this is my third ratchet strap that I have owned. I'm a 32 inch waste so often when I buy a ratchet strap that I end up paying for a large piece of leather that ends up being cut off and wasted. I have several straps, but they are all smaller than the "clothes belt". This product listing is difficult to navigate as it is a cross between dress belts and jeans. The wider denim belt only has a few types of buckles, so make sure you have the right width.
