So glad I found this. I didn't want to buy a new vacuum cleaner when it works so well. The switch is easy to swap out and works great. I just wish it was two tone like the old one.

One day our Shark Navigator got stuck. I was able to get a replacement engine block under warranty but ordered this switch to get my original engine block working again. Logically the original switch blew and it was a necessary replacement.

The roller on my shark navigator stopped working - I decided to replace the part first for $10 cheaper than buying a new vacuum cleaner. Followed the instructions I found online to replace the switch and it works! Took about 30 minutes and saved me $150. Worked great.

I have had a Shark UV440 for many years and it has been a great vacuum. When I used it a week ago, the vacuum motor stopped working but the brush kept turning. I removed the switch and turned on the vacuum motor and it worked so I knew it had to be bad. Bought, installed and back in business. Saved me from wasting a few hundred on a new vacuum for no reason.

So I ordered this supposedly original part for my Shark vacuum cleaner. However, I believe it was a cheap fake and not an OEM version. The original part was exactly as pictured, black bracket with red switch. As you can see I have black on black. I wouldn't write this if it persisted but it didn't help in just 3 months when vacuuming it started sparking and shocking me. Therefore I cannot recommend this product.
