The packaging did not look like an OEM Toyota product. The rest of the key was good, it looks authentic. I cut it out and it works fine. I give 2 thumbs up. I have this 2000 4 runner that has no chip.

A real Toyota blank is better than the blank I usually buy from my local locksmith. I can say that the material is much better and feels more solid. I actually broke a duplicate key I made at a local key shop, so this time I switched to the real blank. Glad you switched.

Worked on Tundra 05. Excellent product, original Toyota key. Be sure to go to your local locksmith and ask them to shorten the key. The dealer will rip you off and any commercial places like Home Depot, other big Lowe stores won't cut if it's not their key. Others taking on key and lock needs wanted $100 to carve keys that don't need anything other than curing.

Perfect match for my 2001 RAV-4. Luckily my RAV doesn't have an immobilizer, so a local locksmith copied my key onto this blank for a few bucks. It seems that Toyota accidentally equipped the RAV-4 with an immobilizer in 2001-2003. This can be found by looking at the fuse box under the hood. The top left fuse (front view) is the location for the immobilizer fuse. If you don't have a fuse there, you're in luck! You don't have to worry about programming the key for your car.
