These are very, very cool shoes. I keep getting comments about how adorable my 2 year old looks. However, even with side zippers, they are very difficult to put on. They are probably suitable for children over 3 who can dress themselves reasonably independently, but for us it was 5 minutes per shoe. They quickly became "one-stop" shoes and were therefore not in high demand.
