Not the same as it used to be - maybe a counterfeit?

I loved this lotion when I bought it from the Acure website about a year ago (the Brightening Glow lotion). SUPER thick and smelled nice, felt amazing on my constantly dry skin and did not aggravate my eczema (in fact, it helped me get rid of it!). I was really surprised and disappointed when I opened it today to find a very RUNNY lotion. Now its RUNNY? I don't know if they changed the formula or if I've received a counterfeit. Super disappointed. The smell is only a little different, thoughโ€ฆ

Does not moisturize well

This lotion was recommended by my Natropath, so I had high expectations. But it goes on pasty and you have to rub it a bit to get it to absorb into the skin. It does not do a very good job of putting moisture back into the skin. After a week of so if use, I noticed that my skin was more oily, which is an indicator that itโ€™s dried out not getting moisturized. This product has quality ingredients. It just doesnโ€™t do the job. Iโ€™m going to try to find something else.

Organic but dont like the greasy feel

Bought the Brightening Glow Lotion as it is cheaper, listed as oganic, and suggested on Skin Care Ox due to being a cancer survivor. Changing my products slowly. Love the light scent. After applying lotion 2-3 hours later my skin feels greasy. Dont like the greasy feeling but sunce I just got it today will wait a week to see if any changes.

Makes you feel bright!

Love this lotion. I first found it the week of my wedding and so whenever I use it, it reminds me of palm trees and sun-kissed skin.

This is the best lotion

I really donโ€™t write reviews but wanted to help people like me who have struggled to find decent moisturizer. My hands were DRY. I donโ€™t mean like mildly dry, I mean nothing would penetrate or moisturize my skin AT ALL (including vaseline, body butter with shae cocoa, or even prescription strength balm with gloves on - I was babying my skin to no avail). I tried to find lotion at my local grocery store that didnโ€™t have alcohol in it - there were literally none. I happened to find this lotion at

Really nice! on my review.

Love this lotion. Itโ€™s lightweight and sinks in very quickly. Doesnโ€™t leave me feeling sticky or greasy. Because of the ingredients I feel comfortable using this on my young children as well. Wish the smell was a bit sweeter but thatโ€™s just my preference. I really enjoy using this!
