I wasn't happy to find out they're a 50-50 cotton/poly blend, which is fine if that's what you want, but I was looking for something that breathes like 100% cotton or 95% cotton. I was judging from a previous Duck Commander shirt the same company used for "Heavy 100% Cotton". They have clearly outsourced and moved to cheaper materials for the same price and description. Today I received my shirts, two black and two blue, and at first glance they seem to be very good, with no defects. I wear 'Medium' but ordered 'Large' to wear with jeans and jogging bottoms. I ordered a large one, so just in case? They sit a bit, they would fit my body perfectly. Bought for gardening. They are just the right size (XL) and length. I have the hemline to the bottom of the front pockets of my jeans, and the cut is a little loose, not form-fitting. I'm not sure what the definition of "heavy" is. They seem a little thicker than the layered white t-shirts from Hanes or Fruit of the Loom you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them if you hold them up to a sunny window, for example. We only buy Gildan Heavy Cotton shirts for my husband as they fit the best and are very durable. With my last order I ordered 10 shirts, all the same, just in different colors. One day I received 4 pieces which I immediately washed in cold water and threw in the dryer. I received 4 more shirts today and I can't believe how much they have shrunk! The blue shirt has obviously been washed, the green one fresh out of the box. Very disappointed in Gildan if this is their new standard of quality.

I bought four 2-packs in different colors. These shirts are terribly uncomfortable, especially when compared to other brands sold in the local "markets".
