Gildan Ladies' Fleece Crewneck Sweatshirt, G18000FL Style Review

Slightly too big Ordered medium. I'm 5'4", about 140 lbs. 29" waist and 39" hips if that helps anyone with measurements. It looks very boxy and was very long, it didn't fit me so I sent it back. However, it was thicker and warmer than other hoodies I've tried that cost the same or more than this one.

Poor quality. There were threads here and there that I had to cut when I first got them. I've been wearing it for less than a month and already the whole sweatshirt is in fluffy balls, especially in the sleeve area (as you can see in my photo). I have a Hanes sweatshirt that I've had for a few years and haven't had this problem. I think I'll stick with Haynes for now.

I've read reviews and people said these shirts run either big or small. I usually wear plus sizes for women so I bought one large and one extra large in case they are small. Turns out the extra-large is too big, and the large fits me perfectly. That's why I'm writing this review to help other people understand that they should just order the size they usually wear.

I don't know what happened between the time others ordered and my order but these are definitely small. I ordered a size up from my usual loose fit because I wanted to sleep in something really roomy. That's not it. It fits well and feels really tight in my shoulders. This used to be a favorite brand but I think they're cutting it out because they're poorly made and the wrong size.

This sweatshirt should live. It falls right down. I'm 5'4 and 78kg (that's 174lbs) and I ordered the large and it fits loose but comfortably around me. The inside is soft and the fabric is thick enough to keep the wind out like some of the cheap hoodies you buy online. Even after 2 washes in hot water, the size and color stayed the same.

I love this color and can't beat the $6 I paid for it. In my photo in a sweatshirt, the exact color. Very grape purple. I would say the size is too small. I'm 5ft 3in and 118lbs, size XS according to the sizing chart, but I ordered the large to go under my buttocks, which almost never happens after a wash. Good quality sweatshirt. It feels soft inside and out, the length is good, not too short, I've washed and dried it, it shrinks very little and I think it will stretch after a few hours of wearing. My only problem is that the hands are a little close to the wrist with the elbow. I wear a small Fitbit strap so my arms are skinny. Hands after washing are still ok, but when washing hands or something like that there will be a minimum of pulling up. I wear large and it's big but not big. Next time…

I bought all 3 in different colors. I bought an M when it turned out I had to buy an S. I would have gone back for the S but I had already washed them like all new clothes. They don't shrink. They are really high quality and for the price you can't beat them. I have other Gildan products and find them to be excellent quality at a reasonable price. Now here is my main complaint.
