Lifebuoy good for scissors

Small scissors in a small case. Ideal for embroidery, thin trimming, pulling threads, fine work. Very sharp. The finger holes are big enough for my fat fingers. I'm happy.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons

The best little scissors ever!

I like these scissors. When I sew, I can pick them up without adjusting them in my hand. Makes it much faster. I have a lot of embroidery scissors, but they are always near my machine when I'm embroidering or doing crafts.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Neutral

Hands off my ginger!

As sewing/embroidery scissors, Jinger's rule, full stop. For this price you get an excellent product that will accompany you for a lifetime. All my life growing up we had a hundred scissors at home. My mom has a pair of Gingers (now over 35 years old) that are ONLY for cutting fabric. If she caught me cutting paper or something, my life would be over! Luckily she rarely caught me cutting anything else, but they cut everything like a champ. Everyone wanted to use ginghers because they are…

Points too blunt to fit seams

Gingher have always made quality scissors so this pair disappointed me when I first started using them. The tips do not have a sharp end, but rather a slightly blunted tip, making it difficult or impossible to reach into small areas to cut the thread. I didn't notice this defect in time to return them, otherwise I would have. Sharpening them properly costs as much as the price of a pair of scissors, so I'll stick with them as is.

Pros
  • Real Fiskars quality in a modern craft tool
Cons
  • No performance

Great scissors, I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to buy them! :)

I can't believe these scissors are even more comfortable and sharper than I was hoping for. I've waited a long time to finally get them and I'm so glad I did. My other scissors are dull or loose or both. Finger holes were left on the fingers of the pressure line. But they are so wonderful that I can work even longer (is that good?). WOW this is GREAT :) Get them and don't wait until you're 60 to buy a pair lol :)

Pros
  • Measures 1/5 x 2-1/5 x 4 in; Limited Life
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Ideal for sewing machine

Have been using it for about two months now. I didn't realize how much I loved these little scissors until I used another little pair of scissors I had at home. Now I notice a big difference in comfort on fingers and thread trimming. Cancels on the first try. My older cheaper brand didn't cut the thread the first time, only had to try about the third time. I like the big holes to put fingers and thumbs in. I use them next to my sewing machine to cut threads. I'm not an embroiderer but I love…

Pros
  • Lifespan
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
