When I received it I thought it would be too small for my 12 year old but it was perfect. Just the right size and we won't be able to use it next year. For reference, my son is about 5 feet and 100 pounds. We ordered size 14. He looked great in a shirt and tie, although admittedly I didn't wring out the vest before he put it on so it had a slight crease in transit. Apart from that it was great. The material on the back is satin but on the thin side.

This vest looked good but the stitching on one of the shoulders completely came undone before my son wore it on the only night. Unfortunately I bought these well before the wedding and the return window was closed. I contacted the seller to see if I could exchange it for a new one so he could wear it in the future but he never replied. Very disappointing to buy a garment that only lasted 4 hours. Please note that this vest runs very small. I had to buy a size 20 for my size 14 husky boy.

I finally have a vest that fits my son after ordering and returning two other vests. He usually wears a size 10/12 but I had to go down to a size 16 and it fits EASY. I would say their sizing chart is far from accurate. When you buy this vest, please choose at least two sizes larger. My son could have been a size bigger but for now we are making sure it works as we don't have time to wait for another return and delivery.
