Just fyi I'm a guy. I'm 5'10", 30-32 in waist. I got the 2XL and it fit just slightly large but comfortable. I could try one size down. The material is stretchy but not the waist. Same material just sewn a bunch so it won't be forgiving. Length is ok. If I wear it very high on the waist I'd say it's just the right length for a mini skirt. Wish it was an inch or two shorter but that's just me.

This skirt was super cute! It was very flattering and seemed high quality. However it was not the size I was expecting, despite the size guide it didn’t fit and was two inches too big. It was also quite short in my opinion, but I wore black tights under it so it didn’t appear as short. However because of the size problem and the cost, I had to return it.

I'm always nervous about ordering clothes online (amazon especially because of the asian sizing), but i absolutely love this skirt. I have over 10 legit american apparel tennis skirts and i find this one fits better and is more comfortable than most of them. I wouldn't say the construction is on par with AA but the fit, comfort and price makes up for that. I got it in khaki for work, i get compliments all the time on it.

I ordered a black 23 inch skirt as my waist is 24 inch and the waist was ok but it was a bit short so if you're going to get the 23 inch keep in mind it's slightly short if you want it to be high-waisted. but if i was to get the right size i'd say it would be perfect length. It great quality not too thick or too thin and it's exactly like an American Apparel skirt! 5 stars x

I was a little nervous about ordering this skirt, as I don't normally order clothing online, but I was actually super impressed. The quality of the skirt is nice, not itchy or flimsy. It's white, so it's a tad bit see through, bur that was expected. Just wear nude colored undergarments and you'll be good. For reference, I ordered a 26. I normally wear a 2 and 4 in jeans. sizing is so weird. i had to get a 3xl and i’m a size 4/6 in us sizing. still a little small and too long. The elastic may wear out quickly, rendering the skirt unwearable!

I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT! I WOULD DEFINATELY PURCHASE THIS AGAIN! it is soooo difficult to find a pleated skirt that fits larger girls! I have around a 36 inch waist and I took a risk by trying the 34 inches and it was splendid! I am so glad I bought this! Fits great and is very swishy, no under shorts getting in the way. Only problem is that it is very expensive as a real Japanese import. Disappointing that there is literally no alternative, but no complaints about the quality of this skirt.

This product will not disappoint. The material has a good weight to it, the pleats are adorable and it fits great on the waist with the wide yoke. It *is* short, so be warned. For what it is and the price, the quality is as expected! I was disappointed that it was a little see through but I understand that it is white and isn't the best quality like American Apparel, other than that it was just what I was looking for! I am 4'11 and I got a 26 in. (unfortunately i should have gotten a 24.5 in) Just be careful and measure yourself before ordering! Skirt stops above belly button so it is fairly high wasted, love it!

I wear a 25 in pants and bought a 26 in the skirt. Fit around the waist a bit loose as i expected but I wanted to have a bit room for butterbeer. Love love love the skirt and i couldn’t have asked for more

I sized up because of the reviews and it was way too big, so I had to return it. I ordered my normal size and it fit great! The fabric may pill or degrade over time.

It was slightly too big, but I was expecting this as I orders a size up because my size wasn't available, so that's not a huge issue. It's pretty see-through. Otherwise, it's a pretty cute skirt!

I highly recommend measuring your hips and waist before ordering this skirt. Mine came with thin shorts sewed into it which I might cut out. It arrived when I expected it to and fits perfectly with just a bit of extra room in the waist for tucking in large sweaters. The material is nice, not too heavy or too light and it isn't see through at least for the gray skirt. I would definitely order this skirt again in another color because I love it.
