The size I ordered was a little loose as a highwaisted skirt, but pulling it down to my actual waist definitely helped. Recently bough this skirt. I was worried about the length but the length is perfect. The material is also great. I actually bought a size up from my normal size which I didn't need to because I had to adjust the waist myself so it could fit. So I would recommend getting your actual size.
