Chic Solid Flare Suspender Skirt: Perfect Girls' Clothing in Skirts & Skorts Review

The skirt itself is really excellent quality, but the cut is a little strange. I bought it for my nine year old daughter and the length of the skirt is perfect, the waist is a little tight but it's slim so it's ok but it didn't bother me at first. The straps are very long, I had to make extra holes to make them shorter.

My daughter said she wanted to make her an outfit for Valentine's Day. She decided that she wanted a red skirt. She chose this skirt because she liked the flare. It's a bit too much of a shirt if you ask me, but it's so thin (I mean my daughter) that we just pulled it down a bit and ended up fitting her waist better than the other two skirts that were we have ordered. So overall she is happy.

I ordered a size up as per other reviews and it fits. The skirt is quite short and I don't allow her to wear it in public, but she'll be fine with leggings underneath. My daughter loves to dress up (a theater kid) and this skirt is versatile so she can often change her look with whatever character she is trying to play. Sewn with high quality, the color does not wash out when washed, dries well (hang up to dry), does not shrink after washing. I just really wish the skirt was longer.
