3D Printing Silver Bullet

I bought used, literally several kilograms of material. It is the most reliable and gentle printing material on the market. Having seen many of my ABS prints warp and fail, PETG is strong enough for drone parts, battery boxes, and other large structures. For small prints, PETG has a predictable (minimum) shrinkage factor. I ran this footage through an AirWolf HDR 3D printer at 240-260 with no problems.

Pros
  • PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) 3D printer filament vacuum sealed and desiccant sealed has high impact resistance with excellent impact resistance and low shrinkage compared to ABS
Cons
  • I will add later

Excellent results! suitable for additive manufacturing products

Absolutely fantastic material. I would give this 6 stars if I could. I had some parts that bulged outward when lifted from the bed and tried everything to print them with clear ABS and TGlase. Shrinking with ABS - even with a heated case - continued to cause the perimeter of the part to pull in and up over the first 25 layers, making the curve at 45 straighter and actually allowing the layers to move up for the next layer in pressed the print head. It was a disaster. Best results with TGlase…

Pros
  • Recommended printing temperature: 230-260 C
Cons
  • Without automatic printing
