The stench stinks: fasteners

These things smell of diesel fuel, have been outside for a month and still stink DO NOT buy

Wasted time, money and effort

Lousy on canvas. The cutter was too big, the eyelets usually didn't catch the whole fabric. Cutter was boring, which didn't help matters. Waste of money on equipment and materials.

Video instructions would be helpful.

Works great once you know how to use it. Pictures are useless. A written explanation or video would be much more helpful. I put them in a shadow cloth.

Horrible no 1/2 " grommets

I have a comparison between 1/2" grommets I bought from Home Depot and what that company calls 1/2" grommets . Not even comparable. Had I known this, I would not have gone back and bought more genuine Home Depot grommets.

Need a better hammer: Sewing Tools & Supplies

Gaskets work well. It doesn't come with instructions, I had to go to you to find out how to use it. The hammer is useless, I needed a stronger one. I used thick cloth, it may be ok with thin material, but with thicker material you need a different hammer.

Get your own bushings. The complete set is not worth the money.

I bought this set because it included a hole punch and paint. The perforation process was supposed to work on fabric, but didn't meet the specified requirements. (Before someone immediately blames this for a "user problem" I figured it was user error. I watch close to a dozen videos online and yes I used the kit correctly.) 5 stars specifically for the jacks and 1 star for the kick does not work as stated in the item description. Overall 3 stars.
