It's plastic, not aluminum. I wanted my daughter to be able to carry her sunglasses to day camp in a sturdy metal case. It's just plastic meant to look like metal, like the flashy molding on a modern car; not real metal.

I have prescription glasses but the case they gave me is too bulky. I wanted something that would protect them but not be as bulky. This is a great case that I know will be easy to find in my bag when I need it. I feel completely safe using this case to protect my glasses. Highly recommended.

Sturdy case with a secure lock. Durable and lightweight. The color is light. My glasses were small and rattled inside. I glued a piece of styrofoam to the inner lid to keep my glasses in place. I'm sure big sunglasses would have been better. However, I like this case. Good value for money

I would never buy a glasses case like that again. It doesn't stay closed like I was hoping and the inner lining is terrible - all wrinkled and loose. It feels like they just slipped it into the case and didn't even cut it and didn't secure it inside.

I thought it was thin aluminum but it's not. It is very durable. The inside is lined with a felt surface. It looks very nice. Big glasses fit in there too. The price is quite justified, compared to the quality of the product it is quite low. I am very happy with my purchase, straight out of the box. Closes very tight. I hope that this mechanism will endure over time. But for the price it will still be worth it, even if not.

I bought this expecting a solid aluminum body. While technically aluminum, it's a VERY thin coating that I don't think adds any extra strength. The body bends when you press hard with your finger. It also clicks along with a very loud, very annoying noise. The felt lining is thin and cheap. I will be returning this and buying a different product as the adverts were misleading and I would not trust expensive glasses to be safe in a case.
