🗄️ Quiet Ball Bearing Full Extension Drawer Slides: GLE2016 Black Metal 3 Section, Side Mount Review

I would not recommend this product, 5 minutes installation, ball bearings fell out. They managed to find the camps and put them back together. After installing the drawer, I started opening and closing it. There was friction, then the rail came out of the bracket and the bearings came out again. I left my box on the floor as this product was unusable.

If hot trash and shipwrecks had a baby, it would be him. Smooth as a razor and hard as a wet paper bag. The bearings fell out when first installed. I thought it was a coincidence and tried the second movement. nope At least they are consistent. I don't know how they got more than 2 stars at most. Do yourself a favor and climb the 10 inch slide if you can. An exponentially better built slide.

I struggled for the right loops until I wore them without leather. about 1/8 inch with very little effort. The last 1/8 inch seems to be holding it closed. The drawer opening is a bit narrow for the first 1/8 inch and smooth the rest of the way. The full extension provided the perfect depth for the drawer and the price was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Upon installation, I noticed that they didn't feel as sturdy as the 24" models I bought from Lowe's, but they were the only ones I found in the 11" range. Could find size so I'm all still using them and hoping for the best. After only a few months of use they started to stick about 3/4. With some effort they opened up all the way for a while, but then they started hanging in other places. I am currently remodeling drawers to use heavier gauge 12" rails that can be scaled down to size.

I used these slides to replace a set of slides that came in an inexpensive 2 drawer filing cabinet. I wanted 3/8" wide and 13" long. Everything else I found was the wrong width and length. You just installed and everything works. How long they last is not yet known, but I like them better than the old set. This allowed my drawers to slide out a little further, and made my rear folders a little easier to access. For now, I'm glad I got my filing cabinet back for an inexpensive repair.
