Good product but bad cut

Great color but I wasted a lot of sheets on bad cut. If you're using Cricut Air for this, you'll need to change the setting to at least Cloth. It will not cut through vinyl or card stock settings! First make a small test cut and adjust the settings as needed, which is what I had to do.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No color needed

Perfect for mermaid scales

I used holographic scale vinyl for my mermaid shirt. It was very thick to cut, so I ended up using a higher setting than the second "flat bar" on my Cricut, but my blade may have needed replacing as well. They have to put a lot of pressure on them to stick and I had to iron them a bit after washing and drying on low heat. But overall I am very happy with the result!

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Quality

For my Cricut lovers.

I really like this vinyl, it's very strong and doesn't stretch at all. The best way to cut it out on Cricut Explore (and newer models) is to use the notch after the cards! It will not cut through the transfer scissors and is very easy to sort out. To be honest I only hand sighted my design, it's as simple as that. It's super awesome! And I tried stretching it on my test fabric and it didn't move.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Not the best

Easy to use - works great!

Worked VERY WELL! I was so nervous about making t-shirts for my kids' group. I have never used this "smooth holographic" vinyl. It came in flat envelopes so it was easy to work with. I used my silhouette to design and cut, then applied the vinyl using Cricut Easy Press. I've washed the shirt before, but it looks like new! And I didn't do anything special - I just tossed it with the rest of the laundry (high heat in the dryer and stuff!)

Pros
  • Smooth finish holographic HTV provides superior durability wash after wash.
Cons
  • Will be added later

DO NOT USE THIS THE SAME WAY YOU USE SISER EASY WEED!

This is NOT Siser's Easy Weed Vinyl. I've read the reviews and it seems most people are having issues with the app. This is done on preheated clothing, at 340 degrees, medium pressure, for 15-20 seconds AND PLEASE COOL! Easy Weed cleans hot, it doesn't. With these instructions (which should accompany the product description) this vinyl should work just fine. I have no problem cutting it with the same depth, power and speed as any other vinyl.

Pros
  • Each sheet measures approximately 10 x 12 inches (1 foot). Ideal for 12x12 cutting mats
Cons
  • I'll write later

LOVE how it turned out!

This is my first time using this type of vinyl (completely new to cutting machines). I bought the gold hologram vinyl. I made two cuts with it and weed each piece differently. It was very easy to cut (using the glitter setting on my Cameo 3) and followed the heat instructions on the Siser website. Temperature 320, 10 seconds, allow to cool, then remove backing film. I double clicked the image to make sure it was glued to the fabric correctly. The track skirt image was ironed onto a 60/40 blend…

Pros
  • Excellent for cutting plotters such as Silhouette Cameo, Portrait, Curio, Brother ScanNCut 1 & 2, CM100DM, CM250, CM550DX, CM350R, CM350, CM650W, Cricut and many more.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
