Warm up pretty quickly

Use 22110, so the whole size of the case. Gets hot even after applying thermal paste. But it worked! 30 minutes used for some Wirth. It's getting very hot.

It works best in hard drive accessories

This Glotrends M.2 USB enclosure does what it's supposed to do - turns an internal M.2 drive into a USB drive. These are USB 3.1 and 3.0. It comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and is of high quality. However, the biggest difference between this and other M.2 USB enclosures is that it can handle 22110 drives like the Intel Optane 905p. That's why I bought this case. And so far so good!

Sturdy and does the job

This case feels really solid and I love its black color which goes well with everything else on my desk. A word of caution for anyone using this to clone a drive on a laptop: make sure you know what hard drive your laptop has. I found a new M.2 that works in my laptop and this case. It turns out my laptop can handle two different types of M.2 SSDs and now my old drive won't work with this product. This is 100% my fault and not a problem with this product. Rugged and high quality, but you can find faster Thunderbolt 3 alternatives for the same price

I was looking for a compact but heavy duty external NVME enclosure for my laptop's outgoing drive for easier file access. While that fits the bill, it doesn't give Thunderbolt 3 speed, and since I bought it I've found at least one Thunderbolt 3 alternative for the same price.

This M.2 USB enclosure from Glotrends does what it's supposed to do - turns an internal M.2 drive into a USB drive. These are USB 3.1 and 3.0.
