Disappointed with Exhaust Temperature Gauge

I purchased this automotive gauge hoping to get precise measurements of my car's exhaust temperature but my analysis of this product showed that its not up to the mark. The gauge is difficult to read during the day and impossible to read at night which is a major drawback. On the positive side, it installs pretty easily. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. I would not recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable exhaust temperature gauge. .

One thermocouple failed right out of the box

DO NOT repeat my mistake. I bought two squibs, one for each bank of cylinders. A thermocouple failed right out of the box. I contacted the seller for a replacement and was told to return the defective part at my own expense and they would then 'check' it and decide what to do next. Be smart and stick to brand names. It's garbage.
