I use these to clean the ears of dogs that weigh 70 pounds. She's a bit picky with her ears so regular cotton swabs were a pain. It is great. I used to work in the veterinary service and they are very similar to what we used there.

Yes I use ear drops and I have ear wipes for my dog but with a swab this long I can clean very tight spots in my ear and get the crap out! I use these in addition to his ear drops and find them very helpful.

The wooden stick is very thin, breaks easily. I bought this to clean my dog's ears when he had an infection. Qtips are not the quality product they used to be, they bend easily now, I needed something stronger. Unfortunately this was not the case.

These swabs are great for cleaning those hard-to-reach areas. The quality of the sticks (the wooden part) is just about ok, they break easily at the slightest pressure. The absorbency of the tampon itself is fine as expected. As for the presentation, they are in plastic bags, what can I say.

These cotton swabs are amazing. It's so handy for wiping the tight spots and dunking my drying lotion bottle without disturbing the contents as they shouldn't mix. Excellent purchase; I only wish I had found her sooner.

It's better to wrap a cotton swab around a broom straw than to buy these swabs with little or no cotton tip. Maybe 4 fillings glued together on a smaller double-sided cotton swab. It seems like false advertising to call these cotton swabs, but the wooden swab part is correct. Maybe let the kids use them as popsicle sticks for crafts?
