Pros: Gets as hot as possible. Holds my fine but thick hair. Sometimes I forget to turn it on, but after that it heats up quickly. Cons: No auto shut off. The curling iron gets comfortable and hot. One quirk is that when you plug it in, you actually have to turn the switch on (even if it was left in the 'on' position) - I think this is done so that when you plug it in you really want it to be included. The only thing that I think could be better is the hold of the hair. I have curly, coarse hair and it still slips off the ends of my hair when I try to twist it.

Heats up very quickly. I read several reviews about burning hair so I gave it an average score. I always use a heat protectant spray because of this credit. Doesn't dry out my very fine hair.

This curling iron is the best I have ever used. First, don't pull your hair. The cord attached to the base rotates, so you don't have to adjust it. All the controls are out of the way, so you can't turn it on or off or change the heat settings. Every time you turn it on, the temperature stays the same (unless you change it, of course).
