Bought this sub to replace 6.5 bazooka subs. I've never been thrilled with the bass in my bazooka. However, everything was fine. The speaker burned out and the factory replacement cost $80. So I bought this one for $25 instead. To be honest, it sounds just as good or even better than before. It doesn't exactly match my bazooka, but it's good enough. In general I am satisfied.

does not fit 01 wrangler center EA like other reviews say i broke all the internal fasteners like most youtube videos but still had to order a spacer ring to fit, another $! 0, so I would have found a smaller woofer instead. I also had to modify the spacer ring because it's not really a 6.5, it took about 15 minutes of grinding on my spindle sander to get the spacer ring to fit this woofer basket.

Sounds bad. Doesn't change volume like an OEM speaker when exactly the same size and impedance. Not order. I blew it up about 10 minutes after installing it by plugging it into my outlet. It caught fire within 0.5 seconds. Expected result but I feel it was a waste of time and money. Some people don't have a problem with that, but I think I'm an extra person. It just did almost nothing, not even executed. And I literally had wiring that perfectly matched the OEM amp and was impedance matched…

EXCELLENT replacement for the factory subwoofer in the TJ Wrangler. This is a two-voice subwoofer, just like the OEM, so all factory cables are used. Just pay attention to how the factory one was connected and you won't have any problems. You'll have to drill the inside of the case to mount it properly and you'll have to drill new mounting holes, but it's really easy and I just jumped in and got it done in under an hour with no rush.
