Description of ๐ŸŒ๏ธ GolfWorks V-Groove Grip Remover Saver Gripping Tool (Pack of 20)

A great tool for removing golf club grips. Available in 11" for standard length swinging grips and 20" for long putter grips. v-shape provides a channel to funnel solvent to where you need it most, loosening the tape, and it also strengthens the tool to give you some leverage to work the grip loose. If you are removing the grip to butt trim or extend the shaft, you can re-use the grip after using this tool. 20".

Useful tool: Sports

Worked well it took a bit of effort to add grip release agent and loosen the working grip but I was able to keep and reattach all the grips.

Pros
  • Excellent golf club grip remover
Cons
  • Not bad but...

I love this thing! in sports

I wish I had bought it a few years ago. It's nice to pull the handle without destroying it. Some mineral spirits and 30 seconds with most buttons off. Stroke the other day, but once pulled it had a useful eBay market item instead of junkyard feed.

Pros
  • 20 inch
Cons
  • Some problems

Fragile, overpriced and broken

I bought this to remove the grip from my Scotty Cameron racquet in hopes of storing it for reuse. I have no idea why I spent so much money on a small piece of brittle metal with a handle glued to it, but yes I did. The tool didn't work. General. It bent and the free grip broke when I tried to fit it between the grip and the stock. Long story short, I had to cut the old grip off my stick completely. I wish I could burn my money. It would be the best option.

Pros
  • Available in 11" for standard length swing handles and 20" for long racquet grips
Cons
  • Interval

Works best in the Golf

I have a racquet thick Super Stroke grip that was not perfectly aligned to my eyes. I had to salvage the clutch and put it back on. There are many videos on Youtube on how to use this tool. I inserted this tool blade a few inches between the handle and the shaft and sprayed some thinner into the space. After that it was easy. I twisted it around the shaft and pushed it further each time, spraying the solvent. I finally got to the bottom of the handle and was able to easily remove the handle. Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The V shape provides a channel to direct the solvent to where you need it most, which loosens the band and also reinforces the tool to give you leverage to loosen the grip
Cons
  • I will be silent
