Works great in 2006 MX-5

I've used the Bluetooth GROM setting (2006 Mazda Miata MX-5 with Bose sound) but it failed for an unobvious reason and I didn't want one Spending money to replace it on such an old machine so I replaced it with this one and then connected it to the ROAV bolt. Surprisingly, this setup works great and is a lot cheaper than a GROM replacement. You may need a noise isolator to filter out the howling noise of the engine - I use the "Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator" which was inexpensive, available…

Really plug and play and works as advertised.

Installed on my 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata with Bose head unit. Basically, it activates the "Media" button on the stereo and displays "AUX" on the screen. Works great without static. The sound is output in CD quality. The cord is really long, which is good. I stow it in the glove box when not in use, and it extends well past the cup holders so you don't have to worry about it tugging and tugging on anything. It is truly plug and play and only takes about 10 minutes to install. It's necessary to…

2007 Mazda MX-5 with Bose – Oh yes.

I wasn't 100% sure if this would work as there were different reviews and opinions (everyone has their own opinion too). But it was very easy for a 50 year old guy to win. As mentioned in other reviews, there are several videos on YouTube that describe how to remove stereo audio. When everything is in place, you're talking about six Phillips screws and one 10 mm screw (my screw was already missing, I only found that out during the last step of dismantling). Slowly unplug the radio and unplug…

Cons
  • Pretty much everything is ok

Put your favorite tunes back in the car

Works very well with my 2007 MS 6. My car has a 6-way DVD player so I was able to connect it to the AUX jack on the Connect radios and keep all functions of my DVD player. I also bought the recommended filter but didn't need it. Don't forget to select AUX for listening after installation. Tune your mobile phone to the desired station and connect it to this car stereo cable before turning on the car stereo OR make sure the car stereo volume is turned down when connecting this cable. to your…

Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

It is cheap in price. But it works and is reliable!

I have a 2006 Mazda3 with manual transmission. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars to plug my iPod or phone directly into my car stereo. I saw it and bought it because it was so cheap. I thought if it works, great! otherwise. I wouldn't lose much. But it works great. I've had it for over 3 months now and I listen to my phone 3 hours a day on the way to and from work. Installation is that easy. YouTube will show you 4 screws to take out. Literally. Only 4 screws. The Mazda's radio slides…

Works well, easier to install than I thought.

I've read other reviews that said the wires in the white connector could come loose and I noticed that the metal pins were a bit loose (2 or 3mm slightly displaced) so I have a little maneuver with it Superglue is done on the white connector before even checking if the connection was good. Removing the dash on my 2006 Mazda5 manual transmission with a 6 disc CD player was MUCH easier than I expected. I watched one of the YouTube videos in the series mentioned in other reviews and found it…

Great for a 2006 Mazda 6

Many years ago the only options I could find for a DIY AUX jack for a 2006 Mazda 6 were $300 iPod adapters. That's cool. I knew I didn't want the wires to be visible, so I was able to leave the 3.5mm cable in the glove box or seat side panel. It's great to find that this cable is long enough for both options. After installation I haven't heard any interference when using this port directly. (I've confirmed that my Bluetooth device is emitting interference, but that's another issue.) These…

  • Good, but not great

Easily add an extra entrance!

I purchased this cable when I found out my 2008 Mazda 6 didn't have an AUX input. Press the "Media" button on the radio and voila - you have an Aux input. When your phone is charging you might get a little feedback from the ground loop through your speakers. If things get bad enough, you might need a ground loop isolator. It wasn't that bad on my car, but it might be different on yours. But that's not the cable. Installation is not that bad if you are familiar with car audio installation…
