Goo Gone Citrus Power Remover - 1 fl oz. Review

With all the rave reviews, I had high hopes for Goo Gone. It works to some extent, but not without a lot of elbow grease. I had a plastic container that I tried to get rid of the tape but it couldn't be removed completely. Eventually I gave in and drank alcohol, which immediately worked like a charm. Alcohol works much faster and more thoroughly if you ask me.

I put some non-slip stickers in the tub. After about a month the stickers began to peel off around the edges and soon came off completely. I was left with a sticky, gooey, messy mess at the bottom of my tub where each sticker was attached. When my tub was completely dry, I rubbed a little Goo Gone onto any sticky areas where there was glue and the glue was easily removed. A good product.

This cleaned up all the "junk" from my electronic clipper mat very easily. In fact, I took out my mesh mat and cleaned it too. All sticky bits are gone! Looked like new! Simple and efficient. Do it outside, it stinks a bit indoors, but what the heck when it works so well. Washed with detergent and water, dabbed dry, done! I don't have to rub and rub anymore!

I used this to clean the stickers left on the paintings. The directions say to wash it off with soap and water after application and I didn't feel the material was that much easier to remove. Also, the bottle is leaking. It was in my car in a plastic bag for some time, it was not upright and there was a lot of liquid in the bag. Also, the bottle is a lot smaller than I expected. I used to have good luck with this product but this version seems to have lost its magic.
